1. Place the card reader on the card reader mount and make sure it snaps into place

2. Plug the USB-C side of the cable into the card reader and the USB-A side into the kiosk/register 
   <code>Note: please make sure that the cable is securely plugged into the card reader and the kiosk/register</code>


Place the B3 where you would like it to be in your store

Once the B3 is in the preferred location, take the power cable and plug it into the monitor and the other end into an outlet

<code>Note: Use an extension cord or power strip as needed</code>

1. Wait up to 1 minute for the device to power on - if it does not power on, press the power button on the back of the monitor

2. if it still does not power on, check the connections at the monitor and at the outlet (or power strip/extension cord) then try the power button again

<code>Note: The preferred connection method is an ethernet connection but WiFi will work as well</code>

To register the device to your store, follow <a href="https://support.snackpass.co/en/articles/7855988-onboard-devices-to-your-restaurant">this guide</a>

Tidy up the cabling so that it will not get caught or snagged and is as hidden/neat as possible

1. Remove the Model B3 from the box
2. If using the B3 as a kiosk or register:
   1. Place the card reader on the card reader mount and make sure it snaps into place
   
   2. Plug the USB-C side of the cable into the card reader and the USB-A side into the kiosk/register 
      <code>Note: please make sure that the cable is securely plugged into the card reader and the kiosk/register</code>

3. Place the B3 where you would like it to be in your store
4. Once the B3 is in the preferred location, take the power cable and plug it into the monitor and the other end into an outlet
   <code>Note: Use an extension cord or power strip as needed</code>
5. The B3 will power on
   1. Wait up to 1 minute for the device to power on - if it does not power on, press the power button on the back of the monitor
   
   2. if it still does not power on, check the connections at the monitor and at the outlet (or power strip/extension cord) then try the power button again
6. Connect the device to the internet
   <code>Note: The preferred connection method is an ethernet connection but WiFi will work as well</code>
7. To register the device to your store, follow <a href="https://support.snackpass.co/en/articles/7855988-onboard-devices-to-your-restaurant">this guide</a>
8. Tidy up the cabling so that it will not get caught or snagged and is as hidden/neat as possible
