Install and setup your clamp mounted kiosk following this process

Updated over 7 months ago

If you have any trouble following the below setup process, please contact the Snack customer support team at +1 866 868 2146 (call) or message us using the Partner App!

Package contents

Kiosk screen - 21.5" or 15.6" (1) , Clamp mount (2) Card reader (3) , Power Cable (4)

Setup

  1. Clamp the mount to the desired location on your food truck, make sure the clamp is fully tightened to the surface

Warning: Due to the large variety of mountable surfaces, depending on the surface type, the clamp mount may need a spacer to allow for a proper clamp

  2. Attach the kiosk screen to the clamp mount and make sure a click can be heard before releasing your hands - this will indicate the screen is properly secured onto the clamp mount

  3. Unbox the card reader and place it into the card reader dock. Plug the card reader into the USB-C cable

  4. Plug the kiosk into a standard 120V outlet - use an extension cord or power strip as needed

Warning: Make sure all 3 connection points are properly seated, a loose connection can cause power issues

  5. Kiosk will now power on. If it does not power on, hold down the power button on the back of the screen for 3 seconds

  6. Follow the WiFi connection prompts on the screen and connect the kiosk to the internet

  7. Register the kiosk to your device on the restaurant dashboard by following this guide

  8. Connect the card reader to your kiosk following this guide

  9. Tidy up the cabling so that it will not get caught or snagged and is as hidden/neat as possible

Your setup should now be complete! Run a test order and see what that kiosk can do!

To unclamp the kiosk during clean up, unplug the kiosk from the outlet and then loosen the clamp from the shelf. Store the kiosk in a cool, dry & secure place while not in use to prevent damage to the kiosk
