Unbox the contents from their packaging. Remove the pole & base (large square packaging). Locate the Allen key, along with the torx screws (x4)
Align base plate with the stand, & rotate the screws clockwise using the provided Allen Key tool. Repeat for all 4 screws
Warning:
Make sure the orientation of the pole to the base is the same as seen in the graphic below
Once the base plate and pole are assembled to create the floor stand, remove the rubber grommets from the cable channel opening
Note:
There are 2 cable channel openings, one in the bottom-back side of the pole & the other is toward the top-front side of the pole
Locate the box with the screen (shipped in a separate box). Locate the power cable & ethernet cable (if ethernet-based internet is being used)
Align the screen with the VESA mount on the floor stand, screw in the upper 2 screws on the screen (but do not tighten)
Note:
Make sure the screws are secure before letting go of the screen to prevent an accidental drop
Slide the card reader dock in between the screen and the mount ensuring the open slots are facing the screws. Then slide upward and to the right
Note:
If you are using a 21.5" screen, use the top slots on the card reader plate. If using a 15.6" screen use the bottom slots
Tighten the remaining screws & ensure that the card reader plate is fully secured
Locate the card reader along with the USB-C cable included in the kit. Insert the straight tipped USB-C end to the USB-C slot on the bottom of the screen then connect the 90 degree USB-C end to the M2 Card Reader's USB-C port
Find your preferred location to place the kiosk in your restaurant
Plug the kiosk into a standard 120V outlet
The kiosk should power on automatically. If it does not, hold down the power button found on the back of the screen until the screen lights up
Connect your device to the internet:
For an ethernet connection - route the ethernet cable in the same manner as the power cable and and plug it into the ethernet port
For a WiFi connection - follow WiFi prompts shown on the screen
Note
: The preferred connection method is an ethernet connection but WiFi will work as well - if using ethernet, make sure the ethernet cable was properly routed through the stand in step 4
To register the device to your store, follow this guide
To connect the card reader to the kiosk, follow this guide
Tidy up the cabling so that it will not get caught or snagged and is as hidden/neat as possible
