How To Manage The SnackTV App

With the SnackOS SnackTV app, customers will be able to see the status of their order, whether it is in progress or ready. We will go through some important settings to be configured so you can take advantage

Voice Announcements

The SnackTV app can announce your orders using AI voice functionality. If your device has speakers or if you connect a Bluetooth speaker, you'll be able to hear these announcements. To ensure this feature is activated, follow these steps:

  1. Access Settings:
    From your SnackOS home screen, go to SETTINGS.

  2. Select Voice Announcements:
    In the left menu, under DEVICE, choose VOICE ANNOUNCEMENTS.

  3. Enable Announcements:
    Toggle on ANNOUNCE COMPLETED ORDERS to allow your device to play a sound when orders are completed.

  4. Bluetooth Speaker Connectivity:
    If you need to connect an external speaker, scroll down in the left menu to ANDROID SETTINGS and follow the prompts to connect your Bluetooth speaker.

There's no need to click save; toggling this option will automatically save your changes.

Once you've enabled these settings, you can return to the SnackTV app to configure the remaining options.


​SnackTV Configuration

Now that you've enabled voice announcements for your SnackTV, let's configure the remaining settings. Follow these steps:

  1. Open SnackTV:
    From the SnackOS home screen, select the SnackTV app and click Continue.

  2. Access Settings:
    Once inside the app, tap the upper right corner where your logo is displayed.

  3. Configure Settings:
    After tapping that corner, you’ll see a new screen where you can adjust the rest of the settings.

  • Audio Announcements
    Enable or disable audio alerts to have completed customer orders announced using an AI-generated voice.

  • Name Display Options
    Choose whether to display the customer’s full first name or just the first initial.

  • Voice Selection
    Select your preferred AI voice from a list of 10 available options.

  • Fulfillment Types (NEW)
    Now you can choose which fulfillment types appear on SnackTV: Pickup, Dine-In, and Delivery.

  • Font Customization
    Adjust the font style to suit your display preferences.

  • Saving Changes
    Once you've configured your settings, tap SUBMIT to save.

Please note that all of these changes apply on a device level, so if you have more than one SnackTV, these configurations apply for each one of them.
