Follow this guide to walk through onboarding of your SnackOS devices

How do I register my devices on my Snackpass dashboard?

Device Setup Instructions

  1. Power On Your Device:

    • Ensure your device is powered on.

  2. Connect To The Internet:

    • Connect your device to a stable Wi-Fi network.

  3. Open the SnackWelcome App:

    • On your device’s home screen, open the SnackWelcome app.

    • Scan the QR code displayed on the screen. If the app is not visible, the QR code will also be shown on the home screen.

  4. Automatic Redirection:

    • After scanning the QR code, you will be redirected to your dashboard to add the device.

  5. Manual Setup Option:

    • If you prefer not to scan the QR code, you can add the device manually. Locate the code at the bottom left corner of the home screen. Use the last five characters of this code as your Setup Code or SnackID.

  6. Add Device On Snackpass Dashboard:

    • Log in to your Snackpass Dashboard.

    • Navigate to the left side menu and select SETTINGS - DEVICES.

    • Click the black + Add Device button in the upper right corner.

  7. Select Device Type:

    • Choose SnackOs if your device will be used as a kiosk, register, KDS, SnackTV, or orderhub, then click Continue.

    • For printers, select PRINTER. For handheld registers, select Stripe Terminal.


  8. Enter Setup Code:

    • If scanning the QR code did not automatically open the app, type in the setup code from your device manually through the devices tab, and click on NEXT.


  9. Name Your Device:

    • Provide a name for your device as it will appear on your Devices page, and click on NEXT.

  10. Submit and Complete Setup:

    • Click Submit.

    • Wait a few minutes for your device to restart and follow any additional installation instructions specific to your device.

  11. Device Ready:

    • Your device is now ready to use.
