How to replace the card reader
Note: The videos for this process are shown as model D3 but the same process is applicable for the model B3
Remove the card reader from the card reader dock
Take the replacement card reader and clip it into the dock
To connect your replacement card reader to the device, follow this guide
M2 readers cannot be connected through a USB connection, the connection must be over bluetooth
How to replace the card reader, dock and cable
Note: The videos for this process are shown as model D3 but the same process is applicable for the model B3
Unplug the cable (from either the monitor on the B3 or the charging pack on the D3) and remove the card reader and dock
Note: In the video below, the cable has already been unplugged from the charging pack
Connect the card reader cable to the USB-A slot
For model B3: Connect directly to the USB-A port on the monitor
For model D3: Connect to the USB-A port on the charging pack and make sure the charging cable is routed through the open slot on the 'Caddy'

Unplug the current cable from the monitor (model B3) or charging pack (model D3) and unplug the other end from the card reader dock
Plug in the replacement cable into the monitor (model B3) or charging pack (model D3) and the other end into the card reader dock

Connect the card reader cable to the USB-A slot
