Detailed setup instructions for the Label Printer. Intended for users needing help with initial setup and configuration.

The Label printer is a thermal sticky label printer. The label printer that can be connected to the store via Ethernet connection, and registered through RDB. The purpose of this guide is to help with the setup of the printer.

Epson L100: The latest Snack label printer


Setup

  1. Place the printer in the desired location on or below the counter. The L100 printer can be placed in a horizontal or vertical orientation.


  2. Assemble the power cable by plugging the two cables together at the power brick.


  3. Remove the rear cover to connect the power cord.


  4. With the back plate(s) removed, plug the power cord into the printer

    1. For proper alignment: Have the flat face at the end of the power cord facing outward with the arrow pointing towards the power port. If connecting to the internet through an ethernet connection, insert the ethernet cable at this time.


    Important Notice: Our support team cannot assist with WiFi setup or troubleshooting for Epson L100 printers. We prioritize Ethernet connections for optimal performance.


  5. With the back plate(s) removed, plug the ethernet cable from the branch router to the L100 printer

    Note: Food trucks can connect to the label printer via WiFi. Additionally, printers can be connect via WiFi for kitchen station printing. (i.e. A label printer setup for a station that only prints certain items like drinks, or food).


  6. Attach the rear cover, and pull the power cable through the rear cover opening.


7. Plug the opposite end of the power cord into a power outlet

Note: Use an extension cord or power strip as needed


8. After connecting the printer to the outlet, if the LED panel on the printer lights up, the printer is on.

Note: If the LED panel does not light up, press the power button on the printer


9. Register the device through the restaurant dashboard or partner app, and run a test print.

Label Printer WiFi Setup Guide

If you want to connect the label printer via WiFi, follow the instructions below.

WiFi Connection Method

  1. Download the TM Utilities App from the App Store.

  2. Connect the device which has the TM Utilities app downloaded to the active WiFi network.

    Note: The network you connect the device to should be the same as the one you will be connecting to the printer.


  3. Turn on the printer, and collect the receipt printout which has a QR code. Keep this receipt.

    Note: If the receipt fails to print out, then unplug and replug the printer in.


  4. Open the TM utilities (Epson) application, then tap on WiFi setup wizard & select "L100" as the printer type.

    1. You will then be prompted to scan the QR code that was previously printed. (See Gif Below)

      Note: Once the QR code is scanned, it will prompt you to connect to the printers built-in WiFi. Please tap the printers network, and follow the steps.


  5. Select your stores network on the list, or type the network name & follow the prompts below:

    Note: If the device you are using was connected to the same network you will be connecting the printer to. It will automatically choose the SSID (Network Name) and prompt you to enter the password. Please ensure that you are connecting to the correct network.


  6. Select WPA2-PSK under "Security Type".

    Attention: You can change the security type if you are knowledgeable in your networks security parameters/settings.


  7. It will then prompt you to enter the networks password. Connection method will be Auto (DHCP)and a new label should print out with a new IP address.

Your Label printer should now be set-up & connected to the WiFi network. If you encounter any issues, reference the installation guide.
