Troubleshooting Guide | SnackOS Tablet (Lenovo M10 & P11)

Tablet Not Charging

1. Plug Into A Working outlet

  • Ensure the wall outlet is working (test with another device).

  • Check that all charging components (USB hubs, cable, brick) are securely connected.

2. Charging Indicators

  • Battery icon with lightning bolt (top right): Device is charging while powered on.

  • Green battery icon (center): Device is charging from a fully drained state. May take 10–15 minutes to appear.

3. Check For Battery Protection Mode

  • Go to Settings > Battery

  • Toggle Battery Protection Mode OFF if enabled.

  • The battery icon should now show a lightning bolt when charging.

4. Try A Different Charger

  • Swap to a different USB-C cable and charging brick.

  • If this works, your original charger may need replacement.

Tablet Not Powering On

Scenario A: Backlight Is ON (Screen Lit But Black)

Scenario B: Backlight Is OFF

  • Follow the Tablet Not Charging steps first.

  • Then, try rebooting.

Touchscreen Unresponsive Or Slow

1. Physical And Connection Checks

  • Inspect the tablet for damage.

  • Ensure stable internet connection and WiFi speed:

    • Minimum: 12 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload

2. Adjust Pointer Speed Settings

  • Go to Settings > System > Languages & Input > Pointer Speed

  • Adjust the bar to 50–100% (blue area). This controls sensitivity, not hardware responsiveness.

3. Reboot Your Tablet

Use the Reboot Instructions to restart your device.

Internet Connection Issues

1. Check WiFi Speed

  • If slower than 12/5 Mbps, move the tablet closer to the router.

  • Restart your router or contact your internet provider.

  • For touchscreens: apply glass cleaner to a cloth (never directly to the screen).

How to Reboot Your Tablet

  1. Press and hold the power button.

  2. Wait for the screen to power down (no backlight).

  3. Keep holding the button until the Lenovo logo appears.

  4. The tablet will restart automatically.
