1. Charging Issues
For M2 Card Reader:
Inspect The Charging Cable:
Check the cable for any visible signs of damage such as fraying or bent connectors.
Note: If you think the cable might be damaged, you can replace it with a new USB to USB-C cable or USB-C to USB-C cable, depending on what your device requires.
Verify Port Functionality:
To check if the USB port is working, try connecting a different device that you know works, or use another reader with the same port and cable. If the new device or reader works properly, the issue is likely with your original reader, not the USB port.
Ensure Proper Connections:
Test With An Alternative Cable:
Try using a different USB-C to USB-A or USB-C to USB-C cable to see if the original cable is the problem. If the replacement cable charges the reader, your original cable may be faulty and should be replaced.
Purchase A Replacement Card Reader: If you've tried all the steps above without success, consider purchasing a new card reader to replace the faulty one.
For BBPOS Card Reader (Legacy):
Check The Charging Cable:
Inspect the cable for any damage. Replace it if needed.
Test The Outlet:
Ensure the outlet is working by plugging in another device or trying the card reader in a different outlet.
Ensure Proper Connections:
Verify that all charging points are properly connected, including USB hubs, charging blocks, and cables.
Try A Different Cable:
If available, use a different microUSB to USB-A cable and a different charging block.
