Device Overview
The Detachable Register is a flexible register with a customer-facing secondary screen (10.1") that can be detached and repositioned. This allows customers to clearly view their order totals and payment prompts, even in tight spaces like food trucks or small counters.

Step 1 - Unbox & Verify Contents
A. Unbox the items
Remove each component from its packaging.
Place all items on a clean, flat surface.
B. Verify components are included
Confirm that the following items are present:
Detachable Register
10.1" Secondary Screen
Secondary Display Base
Card Reader
Aluminum Dock
25' Ethernet Cable

Step 2 - Attach the Base to the Main Display
A. Position the base
Align the screw holes on the base with the holes on the stand.
B. Secure with screws
Insert the 3 screws included with the product.
Tighten them securely using the provided tool (allen key).
Note: Be careful not to touch or put pressure on the screen while attaching the base. The base is packaged together with the main register unit.
Step 3 - Attach the Secondary Display & Connect the Cable
Choose one of the two installation options below (A or B):
A. Fixed Secondary Screen
Locate and connect the 1 ft cable
Find the 1-foot cable included with the secondary display.
Locate the cable ports on the bottom rear of both the main display and the secondary display.
Plug the 90° angled end of the cable into the main display.
Plug the straight end of the cable into the secondary display.
Note: The cable should be routed before attaching the secondary screen.
Attach the secondary display to the stand
Align the secondary display as shown in the guide image.
Use the 2 included screws to attach it securely to the main display stand.
Note: Hand-tighten the screws only — do not over-tighten or you risk damaging the screen. Do not connect the device to power until after the secondary display is fully connected to the main display.
B. Detached Secondary Screen
Locate and connect the 3 ft cable
Find the 3-foot cable included with the product.
Locate the cable ports on the bottom rear of both the main display and the secondary display.
Plug the 90° angled end of the cable into the main display.
Note: The cable should be routed before attaching the secondary screen screws.
Attach the secondary display to the countertop stand
Plug the straight end of the cable into the secondary display.
Attach the secondary display to the detached stand
Align the secondary display on the detached stand (screen positioned on the left side).
Use the 2 included screws to secure it in place.
Tighten the units with the provided allen key.
Note: Hand-tighten the screws only — do not over-tighten or you risk damaging the screen. Do not connect the device to power until after the secondary display is fully connected to the main display.
Step 4 - Secure the Display Cable
A. Attach the set screws
The cable connecting the main display to the secondary display should already be plugged in.
On the 90 degree end of the cable, align the 2 small set screws included in the kit with the screw holes.
B. Tighten the screws
Use the small screwdriver included in the kit.
Tighten all screws completely to prevent damage during any cable tugging.
Step 5 - Attach the Card Reader
A. Unbox the components
Remove the card reader and the aluminum dock from their packaging.
B. Mount the card reader
Align the rear side of the card reader with the aluminum dock.
Slide the card reader down into the dock until it is fully seated.
C. Connect the cable
Locate the white USB-C cable included with the reader.
Plug one end into the card reader.
Plug the other end into the USB port on the left side of the main display, where the device ports are located.
Note: Ensure the card reader is fully seated in the aluminum dock before connecting the cable.
Step 6 - Connect Power & Turn On the Device
A. Connect the power cable
Locate the power adapter included with the register.
Plug the adapter into the power port on the main display.
Connect the other end to a reliable wall outlet.
B. Power on the device
Press and hold the power button on the main display until the screen lights up.
Wait for the system to fully boot to the home screen.
Note: Ensure all accessory connections (secondary display, card reader) are completed before powering on the device.
