Go to the KDS tab.
Assign a Prep Station to the KDS. This determines which items and tickets the KDS will display based on station configuration.

Marking Items And Orders As Completed
When new orders arrive from your configured channels, they will automatically appear on the appropriate station in the KDS app. If the New Ticket Alert is enabled, a sound will play to notify your team.
You can manually mark individual items or entire orders as completed using the following steps:
Marking Individual Items As Completed:
To mark an item as completed, simply tap on the item's name.
This will cross out the item, indicating to kitchen staff that it’s done—without marking the entire order as complete.
If you made a mistake, just tap the item again to uncross it.
Marking Entire Orders As Completed:
To mark an entire order as completed, tap the order header (where the order number is displayed).
This action will move the order to the Completed tab and remove it from the active queue.
Accessing Completed Orders:
The Completed tab is located in the bottom-right corner of the KDS app.
Orders marked as completed will appear here for the duration you set in the Settings (Beta) app—up to 24 hours.
Important:
Once an order is marked as completed, it cannot be returned to the ongoing queue.
Offline Functionality
In the event of an internet outage, the SnackOS 2.0 KDS will continue to operate as normal, with full functionality preserved. Staff can still view, manage, and complete orders without interruption.
The only difference during offline mode is in the order numbering:
Offline orders will use a custom prefix that you previously configured in the Settings app.
This helps staff easily distinguish offline orders from regular online ones.
Example:
In the image below, orders marked in blue represent regular online orders, while orders marked in yellow are offline orders.
For more information on setting up offline order prefixes, please refer to the Prefix Configuration section under Device > Info & Support > Device Settings in the Settings Beta guide.
