How do I take an order from a customer on my Snackpass Register?

  • First make sure your tablet is in register mode by clicking on "register Mode"

  • Next, enter your PIN number to access the register

  • Select the appropriate category, then select the item that your customer is ordering. Once an individual item is selected, you will see all of the available modifiers displayed on the screen. Click on the desired selections, and you will see them appear in the toolbar on the right hand side of the register screen.

  • Clicking on the plus and minus buttons at the bottom of the screen allows you to duplicate or reduce the quantity of this item, with these modifiers, to the order.

  • Once all required modifiers have been selected, you will have the opportunity to add more items, or to work through one of several flows.

How do I accept an order over the phone for a customer who will come in to pick it up, or via a third party that is not integrated with my Snackpass POS System?

  • Hit the "send" button at the bottom of the tool bar on the right hand of the register screen to "send" this order into your queue to be prepared now, but paid for later. This workflow is typically used for orders that are called in ahead of time, where the customer is expected to pay upon arrival to the restaurant.

  • Enter the user's phone number, and then their name into the register.

  • Press the "open ticket" button, and an open ticket will be created for the customer. The order will have a red "unpaid" sticker next to it on the register.

  • When you are ready to accept payment for the order, look for the black button that says "orders" at the bottom of the register screen, and click it

  • Locate the order you wish to work with on the screen (indicated by the order number, the customer's name, and the red "unpaid" sticker) and click on it.

  • The order will pop up on the screen with three options
    - VOID the order
    - REOPEN the order (to add more items to it)
    - CHECKOUT to checkout

How do I complete the checkout process for a customer on my Snackpass Register?

  • Hit the "checkout" button at the bottom of the tool bar on the right hand of the register screen to check out.

  • You will be prompted to confirm the user's phone number and their name

  • You will be prompted to select the appropriate payment method

  • Accept payment and press "new order" and you have now completed the checkout flow and are now ready to begin working with a new customer
