Step 1 - Choose The Installation Location
Select a wall space that provides optimal viewing angle, height, and accessibility for your restaurant.
Step 2 - Mount The Wall Bracket
Note: Snackpass technicians will skip this step. They do not drill into walls.
Consult a professional on proper techniques for attaching the mount to the wall
Mark drill hole positions using the wall mount as a guide.
Drill pilot holes at the marked points.
Align the wall mount with the pilot holes and secure it using the appropriate screws.
Tighten screws firmly, but avoid over-tightening.
Step 3 - Mount The Monitor
Lift the monitor (with attached VESA head) and snap it into the wall mount. Ensure a secure fit – you should hear a click when it locks in place.
Step 4 - Adjust Monitor Tilt/Rotation (Optional)
Use the provided L-shaped tool to tighten or loosen the set screws located on the right side of the wall mount.
Adjust sensitivity to suit the desired monitor angle.
Step 5 - Power On The Device
Connect the power cable to the kiosk, then plug into a 120V wall outlet.
If it does not power on automatically, hold the power button for 3 seconds.
Use a power strip or extension cord as needed
Step 6 - Install The Card Reader
Slide the card reader onto the installed plate. You’ll hear a click when it snaps into place.
Connect the USB-C charging cable:
Plug the straight USB-C end into one of the monitor's USB-C port.
Plug the 90 deg USB-C end into the card reader.
Step 7 - Connect Card Reader
A. Plug the USB-C (small, rounded) end into the M2 Card Reader until it seats firmly.
Note: For detailed visuals and troubleshooting, see Installation Guide | M2 Card Reader. You can complete this step any time after Step 6.
Step 8 - Connect To The Internet
Preferred: Ethernet
Alternative: WiFi
For ethernet:
Route the cable with the others and plug it into the ethernet port.
For WiFi:
Follow the on-screen prompts to connect.
Once online, the device will launch the SnackOS home page
Step 9 - Cable management
Tidy up the cables so they are neat and hidden for a professional and clean aesthetic
