Make sure you have all the components before starting:
(1) Kiosk Monitor – 21.5" or 15.6"
(2) Wall Mount
(3) VESA Mount
(4) Card Reader Plate
(5) Thumbscrews (4 total)
(6) Card Reader
Cables:
Power Cable
Card Reader Charging Cable (USB-C)
Ethernet Cable
Step 1: Choose The Installation Location
Select a wall space that provides optimal viewing angle, height, and accessibility.
Use a stud finder to identify studs. For drywall mounting, use provided drywall anchors (note: stud mounting is recommended).
Step 2: Attach The VESA Mount To The Monitor
Align the VESA mount with the holes on the back of the monitor.
Use two thumbscrews to attach the top of the VESA mount.
Do not fully tighten yet.
Step 3: Install The Card Reader Plate
Slide the card reader plate behind the VESA mount using the appropriate slot:
Top slots for 21.5" monitor
Bottom slots for 15.6" monitor
Insert the bottom two thumbscrews.
Tighten all four thumbscrews to secure the mount and plate.
Step 4: Mount The Wall Bracket
Note: Snackpass technicians will skip this step. They do not drill into walls.
Mark drill hole positions using the wall mount as a guide.
Drill pilot holes at the marked points.
Align the wall mount with the pilot holes and secure it using the appropriate screws.
Tighten screws firmly, but avoid overtightening.
Step 5: Mount The Monitor
Lift the monitor (with attached VESA mount) and clip it into the wall mount.
Ensure a secure fit – you should hear a click when it locks in place.
Step 6: Adjust Monitor Tilt/Rotation (Optional)
Use the provided L-shaped tool to tighten or loosen the set screws located on the right side of the wall mount.
Adjust sensitivity to suit the desired monitor angle.
Step 7: Power On The Device
Connect the power cable to the kiosk, then plug into a 120V wall outlet.
If it does not power on automatically, hold the power button for 3 seconds.
Use a power strip or extension cord if necessary.
Step 8: Install The Card Reader
Slide the card reader onto the installed plate. You’ll hear a click when it snaps into place.
Connect the USB-C charging cable:
Plug the USB-A end into one of the monitor's USB ports.
Plug the USB-C end into the card reader.
Step 9: Connect To The Internet
Preferred: Ethernet
Alternative: WiFi
For ethernet:
Route the cable with the others and plug it into the ethernet port.
For WiFi:
Follow the on-screen prompts to connect.
Once online, the device will launch the Snackpass Welcome App.
Step 10: Final Setup Steps
Register the device to your store – follow the provided registration guide.
Connect the card reader – follow the connection guide.
Tidy up the cabling – make sure cables are neatly secured and not prone to snagging.
Setup Complete
Your kiosk is now ready to use. Run a test order to verify functionality.
