Connecting the Receipt Printer (TM-M30II-H) to the Order Hub Tablet using USB cable or Bluetooth

Epson M30-II-H: The Snack receipt printer


Pre-setup Checks

Before starting the USB/Bluetooth setup for SDP Printers, please check the following:

  1. Make sure that the printer is powered ON.

  2. Open the rear casing of the printer and plug a USB cable to the "iPad 2.1A" port.

    (M30-II-H)

  3. Plug the other end of the USB cable to the Order Hub Tablet. Tablet should begin charging.

    1. Click "OK" or "Connect" on any pop up notifications that appear on the tablet


Setup

Please be aware that this guide pertains to the Orderhub Legacy app version. If you need to connect the app using a SnackOS device, please consult the section titled "How to Connect Your Epson TM-M30II Receipt Printer to SnackOS Devices" in the Printing article for detailed instructions.

  1. Plug the printer into a power outlet

  2. Make sure the Order Hub tablet is turned on, and the Order Hub is registered to your store.

  3. On your Order Hub App, tap "Settings"

  4. Tap "Internet Connected Printers" > Tap "Connected Printers"

  5. Select "Receipt Printer" > Screen should automatically find a printer > Select the TM Printer (USB)

  6. Once connected, tap "Print Test Receipt"

Your setup should now be complete! Run a test order and see what those printers can do!
