What are Guestbook Campaigns?

Guestbook Campaigns are designed to help partners effectively market to their customers. Recently revamped, this feature now enables targeted customer outreach through Text Message SMS Marketing.


Where can customers sign up to receive marketing text messages?

With SMS Campaigns, you can reach out to customers who have opted in for marketing notifications across various touchpoints:

  • Kiosk & Register

  • Smart Receipt

  • Online Ordering

What can I do with Guestbooks Campaigns?

Even if you have limited marketing experience, with our campaigns feature, you will be able to:

  • Create campaigns to keep your customers engaged to your brand and inform them of time-sensitive announcements.

  • Promote special offers, new menu items, store events, and more.

  • Target specific customer segments with personalized text messages.

  • Access detailed analytics on the delivery, engagement, and opt out rate to monitor the success of your campaigns.

How much do Guestbooks Campaigns cost?

  • $100 One-Time Registration Fee: This fee covers the purchase and registration of a marketing phone number for your brand. It's charged once per brand registration and added to your next month's bill upon signup.

  • $15 Monthly Fee: This fee ensures the phone carrier can send SMS messages. It's charged every month, regardless of actual messages sent. For instance, if your number is registered on March 31st, we'll charge you $15 in your March bill.

  • $0.03 Per Text Sent: Each message can be up to 80 characters with emojis or special characters, or up to 250 characters with plain text.

How can I register for Guestbook Campaigns?

You can register for Guestbook Campaigns on the Snackpass dashboard.

During registration, ensure that the information matches your tax documents exactly. This includes punctuation, spelling, capitalization, spacing, and business structure (e.g., INC, LLC, S Corp). Any discrepancy will lead to registration failure and an additional fee.

Single Store Registration

If you're a single store partner, go to Guestbook - Campaigns - SMS and click on GET STARTED.

Step 1: Fill out this form with the pertaining information.

To send texts, US wireless carriers need organizations to verify their identity. This stops spam. Carriers block messages from unregistered numbers.

Snackpass will purchase a local area code phone number, known as a 10 Digit Long Code number (10DLC), like 310-123-4567 on your behalf.


Step 2: Double-check the accuracy of the provided information. You'll also need to agree to the pricing terms, covering the registration fee, monthly charges, and per SMS rates.

Chain Registration

If your store is part of a chain, and another store has already registered for SMS marketing, you can piggy back off of that registration if you know the EIN of the location that has already registered.

Sharing a registration in a chain means that any subsequent locations do not need to pay the one time registration cost or $15/month fee.


Subsequent locations sharing the registration can choose to share the same phone number and display name as the chain or select different ones.

Chain locations that don’t know the EIN of the location that has already registered or wants to register individually can do so. If you choose to register individually, you will see the same form as single store registration.

How do I create a Guestbook Campaign?

After you've successfully registered and got your own marketing phone number, you will be able to create a campaign for your store

  • Click on New Campaign.

  • Create a campaign by setting a name, audience and message. Once finished, click on Continue.

  • Review the campaign. Once you've verified everything is correct, click on Send Campaign.

How can I check how my campaigns are performing?

You'll see campaign performance details for new campaigns by accessing the dashboard, going to Guestbook, Campaigns, and clicking on the campaign you want to check the stats for. This information includes the campaign name, status (sending or delivered), the targeted segment, creation date, number of messages sent, and opt-out rate.

Clicking on each campaign gives you a detailed view, including the full message, send time, segment details, estimated and actual costs, opt-outs, attributed sales, and orders.

Campaign Stat Details

Reachable Audience:

Reachable represents customers who are both part of the segment, and who have signed up for marketing consent for your store.

Target Audience:

100% of your Reachable Audience was sent this campaign.

Actual Cost:

Cost of campaign may differ from estimated cost if members of your Target Audience are ineligible to receive this campaign due to a carrier restriction.

Campaign Stats Impact

Delivered:

Messages that were successfully delivered to the recipient. Messages might fail to deliver due to prohibitive content, inclusion of a URL link, or a carrier issue.

Opt Out :
Customers that have opted out from receiving additional text marketing communication after this campaign.

Attributed Sales:

Total of orders that any customer that received the campaign made in the following 7 days.

Attributed Orders:

Number of orders that any customer that received the campaign made in the following 7 days.

Campaigns Status Customer List:

The list will display all customers the campaign was intended for, indicating whether the campaign was delivered and if any customers opted out from receiving the store's marketing text messages after receiving the campaign.
