How to tell if you have SnackOS or Legacy products

Quick guide to determine whether you have a SnackOS product or a Legacy one.

Attention: Legacy products will no longer receive updates or bug fixes. Currently, SnackOS is the primary system supported and recommended by Snackpass for optimal performance and features.

How can I determine whether my device is a SnackOS product or a Legacy one?

To identify whether your device is a SnackOS product or a Legacy one, follow these steps:

  1. Log into Your Snackpass Dashboard:

    • Access your dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Devices Tab:

    • On the left-side menu, find and click on the SETTINGS - DEVICES tab.

  3. Check the Device List:

    • You'll see a list of all your devices.

  4. Identify the Device Type:

    • Locate the fourth column labeled DEVICE TYPE.

    • If this column displays SnackOS, your device is running on the SnackOS system.

    • If it shows a tag with Legacy (e.g., "Order Hub Legacy," "KDS Legacy," "SnackTV Legacy"), your device is a Legacy product.

You can also identify SnackOS devices by their home screens. SnackOS devices feature a unique home screen that displays all the Snackpass app icons
