The Snackpass Orders app offers robust order management features, enabling you to track orders through various stages such as scheduled, in progress, completed, or canceled. It facilitates actions like marking orders as completed, delaying them, or processing refunds as necessary, ensuring efficient and prompt order handling.


How To Manage The Orders App

SnackOs Orders Settings

In your SnackOs settings, you can customize various options to optimize the functionality of your Orders app. Let’s walk through them together.

In the Apps section, navigate to Orders to configure various settings for order management.

Kitchen Status

  • At the top, you'll see Kitchen Status with two options: Open and Pause.

  • When your store is open and actively taking orders, the Open option will be highlighted in white.

Adjusting Wait Times

  • To modify wait times, click on the available preset time ranges.

  • Select your preferred option and hit Confirm.

  • If you'd like to customize the wait time, click the Custom button, choose your desired range, and click SAVE.

Pausing Orders

  • If you need to stop taking orders, select the Pause option under Kitchen Status.

  • You can choose from preset pause durations or customize your own.

  • Be sure to select a reason for the pause, which will be visible to your customers on the app and online ordering platform. If none of the preset reasons fit, choose OTHER to enter your own.

Notifications

  • Once you've paused orders, a message will appear at the top stating, NOT ACCEPTING NEW ORDERS FOR X TIME.

Reopening And Extending Pause

  • If you decide to reopen your store before the timer expires, simply click the Reopen button.

  • If you need to extend the pause duration, you can select a preset option or customize a new time.


Navigating The Orders App

Here's a comprehensive overview of the actions you can perform using the Orders app:

  • Order Visibility: Through the Orders app, you can view all ongoing orders and their statuses.

  • Scheduled Orders: Navigate to the Scheduled tab on the left to accept and review details of scheduled orders.

  • Managing Unpaid Orders: Use the Unpaid tab to manage unpaid orders. Here, you can void orders or reopen them for item edits. Please note that this functionality is intended only for regular orders. For reopening or voiding Tableside orders, please use the Register (Beta) app instead.

  • Manual Order Printing: To manually print an order, select the order and click the printer icon next to the total. Choose the printer for the order to be sent.


  • Completing & Delaying Orders: Click "Complete" to finalize an order. To delay an order, click "Delay" and specify the delay duration in minutes.


  • Refunding Orders: For refunds or partial refunds, click Refund / Partial Refund at the bottom. Select a reason for the price adjustment.
