The Clamp-Mounted Kitchen Display System (KDS) is built for stable, space-efficient installation on a variety of surfaces. It’s ideal for busy kitchen environments in quick service restaurants (QSRs) and can also be mounted in compact spaces, such as shelves or counters, to keep workflows organized and efficient. Its secure clamp design makes it a flexible choice for both permanent and semi-mobile setups.

Package Contents

1 x 15.6", or 21.5" Monitor | Clamp Mount | Power Cable | 25 ft Ethernet Cable

Installation

Step 1 – Prepare the Clamp Mount

A. Position the clamp on the installation surface (shelf, table, or counter). Tighten the clamp until secure, ensuring it’s stable and does not wobble.

Step 2 – Attach the KDS to the clamp mount

A. Align the two hooks on the monitor’s VESA mount with the metal prongs on the clamp mount’s VESA attachment. Once aligned, slide the monitor down into place.

Note: There’s no noticeable “click” or physical signal when it’s fully installed, so double-check visually to make sure the monitor is securely hooked onto the two prongs.

Step 3 – Install the Set Screw

A. Insert the set screw into the hole at the top of the clamp mount pole, making sure the holes are properly aligned. Avoid over-tightening to prevent stripping the screw.

Note: The screw should turn smoothly. If you feel any resistance at the start, remove it, realign with the hole, and try again.

Step 4 – Tilt the Screen to the Desired Angle

A. Loosen the set screw installed in Step 3 until the monitor can be adjusted. Tilt the screen to your preferred angle, then tighten the screw while holding the monitor in position.

Note: Support the monitor with one hand while adjusting to prevent strain on the mount or accidental slipping.

Step 5 – Power & Network Setup

A. Connect the kiosk’s power cable to the power brick, then plug the brick’s cable into a grounded outlet.

B. Connect to Ethernet for best performance, or follow the on-screen Wi-Fi setup.

Note: For the most reliable and consistent performance, connect the kiosk to Ethernet. The ethernet port can be found on the opposite end of where the power cable is plugged in. Use the diagram to locate the ports.

Step 6 – Final Hardware Checklist

Mount Stability – Clamp mount is tight and stable (no movement).

Set Screw – Ensure the set screw is snug but not overtightened.

Power Connection – Power cable connected to brick and plugged into a grounded outlet.

Network Connection – Ethernet with green lights active on the router, or Wi-Fi setup completed.
