This guide covers the most common issues you may encounter with your G4 Wall Mount Kiosk, including power, touchscreen, internet, and hardware issues.
Troubleshooting
1. Monitor Not Powering On
Step-By-Step Checks
Press The Power Button
Check The Power Connection
Reboot The Monitor
Turn off the monitor using the power button.
Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
Wait 15 seconds.
Plug the power cable back in.
The monitor should power on automatically.
If it does not, press the power button on the back of the monitor.
Check The Power Cable
Inspect the cable for visible damage, fraying, or cuts.
If another compatible monitor is available, you can use its power cable to determine whether the cable is causing the issue.
If the monitor still does not power on after these steps, contact Snackpass Support.
2. Touchscreen Is Unresponsive Or Lagging
Step 1: Check For Physical Damage
Inspect the monitor for:
Cracks or damage to the screen.
Liquid damage.
Any other visible physical damage.
If physical damage is present, stop troubleshooting and contact Snackpass Support.
Step 2: Restart SnackOS
If the touchscreen is responsive enough to navigate through SnackOS:
From the SnackOS home screen, open Settings.
Use the left-side menu and scroll all the way down.
Select Restart.
Allow SnackOS to restart.
Check whether the touchscreen is responding normally.
If the kiosk is too unresponsive to navigate through Settings, skip this step.
Step 3: Reboot The Monitor
If restarting SnackOS does not resolve the issue:
Turn off the monitor.
Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
Wait 15 seconds.
Plug the power cable back in.
Turn the monitor back on if it does not power on automatically.
If the touchscreen remains unresponsive or continues to lag, contact Snackpass Support.
3. Internet Connection Issues
The G4 can connect to the internet through Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Ethernet Connection
Make sure the Ethernet cable is securely connected.
If possible, try another Ethernet cable.
Restart the kiosk.
Check whether the connection has been restored.
Wi-Fi Connection
Check the Wi-Fi connection on the kiosk.
If the connection is slow, restart the router.
If possible, move the kiosk closer to the router.
Restart the kiosk and check the connection again.
The recommended minimum internet speed is:
12 Mbps download
5 Mbps upload
Reconnect The Kiosk To Wi-Fi
If the kiosk is connected to Wi-Fi but cannot access the internet, reconnect the network through SnackOS:
From the SnackOS home screen, go to Settings, or tap the gear icon in the top-right corner.
Select Network.
Select Wi-Fi.
Locate your saved Wi-Fi network.
Tap the trash can icon next to the network and select the option to forget it.
Turn the Wi-Fi toggle off at the top of the screen.
Turn Wi-Fi back on.
Tap the + icon in the bottom-right corner.
Enter your Wi-Fi SSID (network name) and password.
Make sure the SSID is entered exactly as it appears, including capitalization.
Tap Connect.
Confirm that the network status says Connected, not Saved.
If the kiosk still has no internet connection or payments continue to fail, contact Snackpass Support.
4. Card Reader Connection Issues
If the card reader is not connecting, follow the dedicated M2 Card Reader Troubleshooting Guide for step-by-step troubleshooting.
If the reader still cannot connect after completing the troubleshooting steps, contact Snackpass Support.
5. Physical Damage
If the G4 kiosk or monitor has visible physical damage:
Do not attempt to repair the device.
Stop using the device if the damage could affect its safe operation.
Contact Snackpass Support so we can determine the appropriate next steps and whether the device may be eligible for replacement.

Do not lift or move the kiosk by the monitor.
Avoid exposing the kiosk to outdoor conditions.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes on the monitor.
Keep the kiosk away from excessive moisture, heat, and dust.
Keep cables organized to prevent tripping or damage.
Cleaning Instructions
Turn off the device before cleaning.
Unplug it from AC power if necessary.
Use a soft cloth that is only slightly damp.
Apply any approved cleaning solution to the cloth, never directly to the monitor.
Gently clean the screen and exterior surfaces.
Do not allow liquid to enter the monitor or other openings.
If liquid enters the monitor, do not use the device and contact Snackpass Support immediately.
How To Reboot The Monitor
Turn off the monitor using the power button on the bottom-left corner of the back of the monitor.
Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
Wait 15 seconds.
Plug the power cable back in.
The monitor should power on automatically.
If it does not, press the power button again.
