Step 1: Unbox & Verify Contents
Unpack the clamp/wall-mounted kiosk and remove all the contents. For your convenience, the display has been pre-assembled with the VESA portion of the mount and the card reader dock & plate
Step 2: Connect the card reader
Slide the card reader into the dock until it clicks. Connect the USB-C cable from the dock to the kiosk.
Step 3: Power & Network Setup
A. Connect the kiosk’s power cable to the power port.
B. Connect the ethernet cable to the ethernet port.
Note: For the most reliable and consistent performance, connect the kiosk to Ethernet. A properly functioning Ethernet cable should trigger both a yellow and a green light on the port, indicating that the connection is active and data is being transmitted. If Ethernet is not available, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the Wi-Fi setup.
For wall mounted kiosk, skip this step
Step 4: Instructions for a clamp kiosk
A. Position the clamp on the installation surface (shelf, table, or counter). Tighten the clamp until secure, ensuring it’s stable and does not wobble.
B. Align the pole on the clamp with the VESA portion of the clamp and slide down until you hear a click. Orient the display to your preferred orientation.
For clamp kiosk, skip this step
Step 5: Instructions for a wall mounted kiosk
A. Remove the plastic screw hole covers and mount the wall portion of the mount to your desired surface.
Note: Snackpass recommends consulting with a professional when mounting the display to prevent any damage.
B. Align the pole on the wall-mount with the VESA portion of the wall-mount and slide down until you hear a click. Orient the display to your preferred orientation.
Step 6: Power on kiosk
Connect kiosk to a standard outlet. The display will then power on.
Step 7: Final Hardware Checklist
Mount Stability – Clamp or wall mount is tight and stable (no movement).
Kiosk Attachment – Kiosk is fully seated and locked in place.
Card Reader – Docked and clicked in securely.
Data Cable – USB-C cable firmly connected from dock to kiosk.
Power Connection – Power cable connected to brick and plugged into a grounded outlet.
Network Connection – Ethernet with yellow/green lights active, or Wi-Fi setup completed.
