Updated over 2 weeks ago

SnackOS devices (tablets, registers, kiosks, CPS) can connect via Wi-Fi or ethernet. While ethernet is recommended, Wi-Fi is also supported. Follow the steps below to connect your device.

How To Connect A SnackOS Device To Wi-Fi

  1. Start The Device

    • When you first open the SnackOS app, you may see a No Internet screen.

    • Tap Wi-Fi to begin setup.

If you don’t see this screen, tap Settings (gear icon).

  2. Open Network Settings

    • In the left-side menu, select Network.

    • Tap Wi-Fi Settings.

  3. Enable Wi-Fi

    • Make sure the Use Wi-Fi toggle at the top is switched on.

  4. Choose Your Network

    • Select your Wi-Fi network from the list.

    • Enter the password.

    • Tap Connect.

  5. Confirm Connection

    • Once connected, your device will be ready to use with SnackOS.

Troubleshooting Wi-Fi

If you cannot connect:

  1. Toggle Use Wi-Fi off, then back on.

  2. Tap the ➕ (plus) icon at the bottom right.

  3. Enter your network details manually:

    • SSID (Network Name): e.g., Comcast1234

    • Password: enter your Wi-Fi password.

  4. Tap Connect.

Your device should now connect successfully.
