This guide walks you through the physical installation of the UniFi Dream Router for your restaurant’s internet setup. Once installed, a Snackpass support agent will complete the remote configuration.
What's In the Box
Your UniFi Dream Router package should include:
1x UniFi Dream Router (UDR)
1x Power Adapter
1x Ethernet Cable
Step-By-Step Installation
1. Unbox The Equipment
Carefully remove the router and accessories from the packaging. Make sure all components are present before proceeding.
2. Power On The Router
Plug the power adapter into the UniFi Dream Router
Connect it to a power outlet
Wait several minutes while the device boots up
3. Connect To The Restaurant's Modem
Locate your restaurant’s main modem
Use the included Ethernet cable to connect:
Modem LAN port → UDR WAN port
(The WAN port is the bottom port on the back of the UniFi Dream Router)
Indicator Light:
The router is ready when the LED ring on the front alternates between dim and bright white.
Once the white light becomes steady, it is ready for adoption.

Once the router has finished booting and the light is steady white:
