How do I install my new SnackOs tablet?

Follow these steps to ensure your SnackOs tablet is set up correctly:

  1. Unbox and Power Up:

    • Remove the tablet from its box.

    • Connect the USB-C charger to the tablet and plug it into a power outlet.

    • Wait for the tablet to charge or ensure it has sufficient power, then use the side buttons to turn it on.

  2. Connect to Wi-Fi:

    • Once the tablet is powered on, click on the gear icon on the upper right corner to access settings.

    • Select OPEN WIFI SETTINGS , and then click on your network to connect to it.

  3. Set Up Your Printer:

    • Go back to SETTINGS and select the PRINTER tab under DEVICE.

    • Make sure your receipt printer is powered on.

    • Your printer should already be shown on this screen ready to be connected if the printer's on.

    • Click CONNECT and use the TEST PRINT button to ensure the printer is working correctly.

  4. Disable Card Reader Option:

    • Once the printer is connected, go back to SETTINGS.

    • In the SETTINGS menu, scroll down the left-side menu to EXPERIMENTAL.


    • Toggle off the ENABLE CARD READER option and confirm to restart the app.


  5. Sign In:

    • After the app restarts, sign in using your employee PIN. If you haven’t set up PINs yet, use 1234.


  6. Configure for Orders or KDS:

    • Once everything is set up, and the app has restarted, use the homescreen icons in the the tablet to switch to the Orders or KDS (Kitchen Display System) app for managing orders.
