Special Menus, the newest feature from Snackpass designed for efficient menu management. With this tool, you can create and display specific sections of your main menu, with optional price adjustments for special events or specific times of day. These tailored menus will be visible across all Snackpass platforms, ensuring your offerings are effectively highlighted to customers.
Creating A Special Menu
You can access the new Special Menus feature from your Snackpass dashboard. Follow these steps to create a new menu:
Access Your Dashboard: Visit the Snackpass Dashboard.
Navigate To Special Menus: On the left-hand menu, go to STORE > MENU > MENUS.
Create A New Menu: Click the + NEW MENU button in the upper right corner.
Fill In The Menu Details:
Name: Enter a name for your special menu. This is an internal name for your organizational purposes.
Default Price Adjustment: If you wish to adjust prices for this special menu, toggle this option on. You can apply either a percentage markdown or markup, and choose whether to include price adjustments for modifiers. If you don’t want to adjust prices, leave this toggle off.
Items: Click the + ADD ITEMS button to select the categories you want to include. Check the boxes next to the desired categories and click ADD CATEGORIES.
Once added, you can toggle off any items you don't want to include. For example, if you add the "Local Draft Beer" category but want to exclude "Blonde Ale," simply toggle it off.
Create The Menu: After filling in all the necessary information and confirming your selections, click the SUBMIT button.
Your new menu will now appear on the STORE > MENU > MENUS page.
Activate Your Menu: To enable the new menu, toggle on the button to the left of the menu name under the ACTIVE column. No need for a separate save action; toggling it on will activate it across all platforms.
Reverting To Normal Menu: If you want to revert to your standard menu, simply toggle off the special menu.
Editing Your New Menu: To adjust your special menus, click the pencil icon on the far right of each menu. This will allow you to make any necessary changes easily.

Important Notes
If no special menus are active, your menu will function as normal, based on your setup under STORE > MENU > ITEMS.
Special menus will respect the channel visibility settings for each item. For example, if certain categories/items are designated for kiosks and registers, those settings will remain in effect.
Special menus do not affect your third-party menu. Your third-party menu should still be managed through STORE > MENU > THIRD PARTY.
Only one special menu can be active at a time.
