How To Manage Your Kiosk App
Dashboard Configurations
By default, all kiosks accept card payments. However, if you'd like to offer cash as a payment method too, follow the next steps:
Access Your Snackpass Dashboard
Log into your Snackpass dashboard.
Navigate to Device Settings
In the left menu, go to Settings > Devices.
Select Your Device
Find the device you want to modify and click on its name.
Edit Device Settings
In the top-right corner, click Edit.
Enable Payment Methods
Scroll down to the Settings section and toggle on the payment methods you'd like to enable:Save Changes
Once you're finished, click Save in the bottom-right corner. Your device will reboot to apply the changes.
Navigating The Kiosk App
As previously noted, the SnackOs Kiosk app comes with a variety of powerful features. Let's walk through how to access them and get started:
Accessing The Kiosk App
To open the Kiosk app on your SnackOs device, simply follow these steps:
From your SnackOs home screen, tap on the Kiosk app icon.
Enter your designated PIN.
After entering your PIN, the Kiosk app will launch, and you're ready to go.
Search Items
Once your Kiosk app is launched, you will be able to see your menu displayed. You can navigate through the menu directly, and use the search feature to search for specific items or categories.
Click on the Search Items button on the bottom of the screen.
Enter the keywords for the item you're looking for, and once found, select the item.
You will then be taken to the modifiers screen to customize the item.
Menu
The Menu page will appear immediately when you tap on the TAP TO ORDER SCREEN. Here, you'll see your menu categories displayed according to the design you've selected. For more information on kiosk design options, please refer to the relevant section of this article.
Adding Items to the Cart
Browse The Menu: Scroll through your kiosk's menu categories to find the item you want to order.
Select The Item: Tap on the item you'd like to add to your cart.
Configure Modifiers: If the item has required modifiers, you must select those before proceeding. Customers won't be able to check out until all required modifiers are chosen.
Adjust Quantity: After selecting the modifiers, customers can adjust the quantity of the item by tapping the - and + buttons at the bottom of the screen.
Add to Cart: Once you've made your selections, tap ADD TO CART to add the item(s) to the cart.
After clicking ADD TO CART, you'll be taken back to the menu screen, where you can continue browsing and adding more items.
Rewards Redemption
By default, kiosk reward redemption is enabled. However, you can use the Rewards Banner On Kiosk toggle to notify customers that they can redeem their rewards on the kiosk. To enable this feature:
Access Your Dashboard
Log in to your Snackpass dashboard.Enable Rewards Banner On Kiosk
Save Changes
Click SUBMIT in the bottom-right corner to save your changes.Restart The Kiosk App
To apply the update, go to SETTINGS > RESTART APP.
How To Redeem Rewards On Kiosk
Here's how you and your customers can redeem rewards on kiosk:
The customer adds items to their cart and proceeds to checkout.
At the phone number screen, they must enter their phone number. This step is crucial, as rewards are tied to the customer's phone number.
After entering their number, the customer will see their point balance and a list of available rewards. To redeem a reward, they simply click USE next to the one they want.
The selected reward will be applied directly to their cart. Note that the reward must apply to an item in their cart. For example, if they select the Free Drink reward, there must be at least one drink in their cart.
After applying the reward, they can proceed to checkout to complete the order.
Promo Code Redemption
If you have an active promo code, your customers can apply it before completing their order:
Add Items To Cart: The customer adds items to their cart and proceeds to checkout.
Click Checkout: Once their cart is ready, they click CHECKOUT.
Enter Promo Code: On the checkout screen, they’ll find an Add Promo Code section on the right side, below the order summary.
Apply Promo Code: After clicking the Add Promo Code prompt, the customer will be prompted to enter their promo code (e.g., 10OFFSPECIAL).
Apply Discount: After entering the code, they click Add Promo Code. The discount will be applied to their cart immediately.
Proceed To Checkout: Once the promo code is applied, the customer can continue to checkout and complete their order as usual.
Gift Card Credit Use
Your customers can redeem both digital and physical gift card credits on your kiosks.
Enabling Gift Cards: To make this feature available, you'll need to enable gift cards in your store’s dashboard. For instructions on how to do this, refer to this article.

Managing Combined Gift Card Credits:
Customers can choose whether or not to combine their gift card credits.
By checking or unchecking the gift card box, they can decide whether to use both the physical and digital gift card credits together or separately.
Promotions On Kiosk
Any active promotions eligible for use in the Kiosk app will appear at the top of the menu screen under the Promotions category. Please note that promotions will only display on the kiosk when they are eligible. For example, a promotion set to run only on Mondays will not appear on the kiosk on Tuesdays.

New promotions may not appear immediately on the kiosk. To ensure the latest promotions are reflected, please restart the kiosk app after creating or updating them.
Supported International Numbers
We've expanded our checkout options to support customers with international phone numbers. Non-US phone numbers can now be entered directly on our kiosks.
Selecting Payout Method:
Entering International Phone Numbers:
If the customer has a non-US phone number, a prompt will appear at the bottom of the phone number entry screen: "Intl. Number"
Clicking this prompt reveals a plus sign (+), allowing customers to enter their country code followed by their phone number. For example, US numbers would begin with +1, followed by the rest of the number.
Proceeding To Checkout:
Once the international phone number is entered, the checkout process continues as usual.
Kiosk Design Options
We’re excited to introduce two design options for the SnackOs Kiosk app: Gallery Mode and Classic Mode. Gallery Mode puts your menu front and center with a visually stunning, image-first layout that highlights the appearance of your dishes with larger images. Classic Mode gives equal emphasis to menu images and descriptions for a more balanced view of your offerings.

How Do I Switch My Kiosk Design?
Switching between Gallery and Classic modes is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:
Click On The Tap To Order Screen.
Press And Hold Your Logo: Locate your logo in the upper left corner and hold it for 5 seconds.
Enter Your Employee PIN: You’ll be prompted to input your PIN.
SnackOs Home Screen: After entering your PIN, you’ll automatically be redirected to the SnackOs home screen.
Navigate to Settings: From the home screen, select SETTINGS.
Find The Kiosk Tab: In the left menu, locate the KIOSK tab under APPS.
Choose Your Display: Under Menu Display, click on your preferred option: Gallery or Classic.
Once you make your selection, just return to the Kiosk app—no additional clicks needed, as your changes are saved instantly.
Kiosk Checkout Options
We're excited to introduce two new settings in the checkout section of the Snackpass kiosk app! Previously, kiosk mode did not allow users to skip the phone number or marketing screen for joining your SMS list.
Now, you can easily choose to skip the phone number entry and opt out of displaying the marketing screen if you prefer.
To adjust these settings, follow these simple steps:
From your SnackOs home screen, navigate to SETTINGS via the main menu or by tapping the hamburger icon in the upper right corner.
In the SETTINGS menu, scroll down the left sidebar to the APPS section and select KIOSK.
On the right side, you'll find the CHECKOUT section.
Toggle the options for ALLOW PHONE NUMBER TO BE SKIPPED and SHOW MARKETING SCREEN based on your desired kiosk experience.
Once you've made your selections, return to the kiosk app to see the changes take effect immediately—there's no need to save!
Please note that this setting is device-specific. This means you'll need to complete this process individually for each kiosk where you want to skip the phone number and marketing screens.
If you enable the Allow Phone Number to Be Skipped option, customers will see a SKIP button in the upper right corner of the screen. Clicking this button will prompt them to enter a name for their order instead of providing a phone number.
Similarly, if the Show Marketing Screen toggle is disabled, customers will not see this marketing screen at all.
