Installation

Step 1: Unbox & Verify Contents

A. Unpack the Snack Duo unit and place it on the designated countertop.

B. Verify the box includes:

  • Snack Duo Gen 2

  • 10ft Ethernet cable

  • Power cable

  • M2 Card Reader & cable

  • Aluminum card reader dock

Step 2: Prep Power Adapter

Connect the power brick to the AC wall plug cable.


Step 3: Connecting Cables

A. Insert the DC connector from the power brick into the device’s power input.


B. Connect the Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port for a wired network connection (preferred).

Note: Make sure the wires are routed through the base cutout so that the register sits flat on the surface


Step 4: Connect Card Reader

Plug the USB-C end into the M2 Card Reader until it seats firmly and the USB-A end into the USB port found on the side of the register's base.


Step 5: Optional - Connect Accessories

A. To connect a gift card scanner, use one of the additional USB-A ports

B. To connect a cash drawer, use the port labeled "RJ12"

Step 6: Turn On the Device

Press and hold the power button, found on the right-hand side of the base, for 3 seconds or until the screen lights up.
