Installation

Step 1: Unbox & Verify Contents

A. Unpack the Snack Duo unit and place it on the designated countertop.

B. Verify the box includes:

  • Snack Duo unit

  • 10 ft Ethernet cable

  • Power cable

  • M2 Card Reader

  • Aluminum countertop dock

Step 2: Prep Power Adapter

A. Connect the power brick to the AC wall plug cable.

Note: Leave it unplugged from the wall for now.


Step 3: Connecting Cables

A. Insert the DC connector from the power brick into the device’s power input.


B. Connect the USB cable into an available USB port on the unit.


C. Connect the Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port for a wired network connection (preferred).

Note: Refer to the Product Diagram for exact port locations. If you have a cash drawer, use the Installation Guide | Cash Drawer for setup instructions.


Step 4: Turn On the Device

A. Press and hold the power button, found on the right-hand side of the base, until the screen lights up.

Note: The unit powers on after holding the button for 3–5 seconds. You will see a blue light on the power button once it turns on.


Step 5: Connect Card Reader

A. Plug the USB-C (small, rounded) end into the M2 Card Reader until it seats firmly.
