    • Power Cable

    • Ethernet Cable

Setup

  1. Unboxing the Equipment: Begin by carefully opening the package containing the clamp mount and the kiosk screen.

    1. Remove all packing materials, ensuring that you have all components listed in the packaging checklist.

    2. Place the clamp mount and the kiosk screen on a clean, flat surface to ensure they are free from damage.

  2. Align and Secure the VESA Mount:

    1. Align the VESA mount with the four mounting holes on the back of your monitor, using the bottom holes on the 15.6” display.

    2. Place the quick release adapter over the same four holes. To assist with alignment, use a screw in one of the bottom holes to hold the quick release adapter in place while securing the rest.

    Note:

    • Ensure all components are securely attached to avoid any instability.

    • Carefully support the monitor during alignment to prevent any accidental drops or damage.

  3. Secure the Mounting Screws: Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screws in the four holes. If your kiosk includes thumbscrews, hand tighten these screws instead.

    Note:

    • Ensure screws are tightened firmly to secure the mount, but avoid over-tightening to prevent damage.

  4. Attach Clamp Mount to Location: Position the clamp mount at the desired location in your food truck. Securely tighten the clamp to ensure it is firmly attached to the surface.

    Note:

    • Verify that the surface can support the weight and is stable enough for mounting.

    • Double-check the clamp's tightness to avoid any movement during operation.

  5. Attach Display to Clamp Mount: Carefully lift the display and align it with the clamp mount. Secure the display to the clamp mount, ensuring it locks or clicks into place.

    Note:

    • Support the display during attachment to prevent dropping or damage.

    • Confirm that the display is firmly attached and stable before use.

  6. Secure Quick Release Mechanism:

    1. Locate the set screw on the side of the quick release mechanism.

    2. Use the provided Allen key to tighten the set screw.

    3. This will minimize left-right movement and secure the quick release mechanism, preventing it from opening unintentionally.

      Note:

      • Ensure the set screw is tightened adequately to enhance the device’s stability and security.

  7. Power On the Kiosk:

    1. Connect the power cable to the kiosk.

    2. Plug the other end of the cable into a 120V wall outlet to power on the device.

    3. If the kiosk does not automatically power on, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

  8. Install the Card Reader:

    1. Take the card reader out of its box.

    2. Slide the card reader onto the mount until you hear a slight click, indicating it is securely in place.

    3. Route the card reader's power cable and plug the USB end into one of the kiosk's USB ports.

    4. Connect the USB-C end of the cable to the card reader.

      Note:

      • Ensure the card reader is clicked into place to avoid dislodgement during use.

      • Check cable connections for secure attachment and proper functioning.

  9. Connect to the Internet:

    1. Ethernet Connection:

      1. Route the ethernet cable alongside the power cable.

      2. Plug the ethernet cable into the ethernet port on the kiosk.

    2. WiFi Connection:

      1. Follow the WiFi prompts displayed on the screen to connect to the network.

        Note:

        • For fixed installations, an ethernet connection can offer more stable performance.

        • Ensure WiFi credentials are handy to facilitate a smooth setup process.

  12. Organize and Conceal Cables: Organize the cabling to prevent it from getting caught or snagged, keeping it as hidden and neat as possible.

  • Ensure cables are routed in a way that minimizes visibility and prevents tripping hazards.

Your setup should now be complete! Run a test order and see what that kiosk can do!
